Sorry, I know it’s been a while since I last blogged, but I’ve been busy preparing for the 2010 wedding season. There is tons of stuff that I want to accomplish before the season begins. Anyway, similar to my last post, this is something else that my assistant, Candice, and I did during our visit to New Orleans in November…her engagement session! We were both really excited about this. Candice was excited about the obvious. I mean, who doesn’t get excited about engagement pictures?! I was excited to take pics in different place, and of all places-New Orleans! I was also excited to experiment with some things and try some new stuff.
I liked the fact that I was able to get a few shots of them both beforehand. Even though Doug was asleep! These shots are something you see a lot of on wedding days, but not for engagement sessions.
I also like that these pictures really capture the whole New Orleans vibe as well as Candice and Doug’s personalities.
This shot above was taken on Bourbon Street. All three of us LOVED this pic! I love that it’s dark out, all of the lights and bright colors, and the blurred motions. The rest of the pictures were taken the next day. We got a late start the first day and wanted some more day light pics.
Well, I hope you guys liked them. I think we may actually take some more pics here in Florida. So, you’ll have to stay tuned for those!
