Marlo and Wiley Wedding Highlight Film 4-07-12 Seagrove Florida

Marlo and Wiley got married on Saturday April 7th, 2012 in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and had a small dinner reception at The V Seagrove. We shot the photos as well as the video for the entire wedding.

They had a bagpiper play for the ceremony (which was a surprise from Marlo as a gift to Wiley ’cause he always loved the bagpipes, as do I ). They also used white benches instead of traditional chairs for the ceremony, which I thought was a unique touch. They just wanted a small intimate dinner reception with their friends and family so they chose to have it at The V Seagrove. It’s still relatively new to the area, but it is a much welcomed addition. The V Seagrove has a very cool vibe to it, killer food as well as atmosphere. I really like the Miami style Art Deco look to it. Marlo and Wiley had dinner with everybody, followed by the cake cutting (I should say cupcake actually!), and a sparkler exit to end the evening.

My favorite section of the video is the ring shot that we did, which is at the end. They had these really cool rings with a lot of detail for us to show. I think this may become our new signature shot for the upcoming wedding videos. All of the wedding vendors are listed in the credits. Anyways, enjoy!

Michael K. Photography 2012 Promo Video

Here is my promo video for Michael K. Photography. This gives a good visual to exactly what I do and why I do it. It’s a culmination of footage over the past few years of me photographing and filming weddings. Shot with Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 60D, Canon 7D, Gopro HD Hero 2, Canon XA10, and Canon XF100 and edited with Final Cut Pro X. I hope you like it!

Head Shots: Destin Personal Trainer

I have some more headshots for y’all! These are actually headshots of my brother, Jason. He is a personal trainer here in Destin. He was in need of some headshots and pictures of him in action for his website, which you can check out here. Him and I were both really happy with the way these turned out.

A Food Shoot

So, a few days after I took Tim’s head shots, I went back to do a “food shoot”. It was my first time to shoot food and it was a really fun experience. I love trying new things. Shooting food is cool because it doesn’t move…it pretty much just stays put- ha! All of the food looked amazing! I was basically starving all day while I was staring at all of the delicious food. Hope you guys like!

Some Head Shots

A few days ago I did some head shots for a local chef, Tim Creehan, of Beach Walk Cafe. They haven’t been updated in about ten years…so he figured it was time for new ones! It just so happened to be a perfect day out. It felt like spring time…sunny and in the high 60s. We took these pics at Henderson Park Inn where his restaurant is located.

This is Valentina in the picture with Tim. I love her! She’s a little cutie.
